Each year during the summer holiday break a group of staff, some ex staff members and a couple of friends play a cricket match at the picturesque Cricket Willow oval near Hepburn/Daylesford against the Hepburn Old Boys. Playing for the David Pocock Trophy. 2007 was the first game and the KFSC Only XI got a bit of a mauling. The Hepburn Old Boys had many legendary retired players who had been very dominant players during their careers. Three of their top 4 bats got to the 30 run retirement score. Old Boys finished with 164 off 25 overs. A very good score and one that our side could not get near and we were bowled all out for 104. Man of the Match was Leon Vanzetta a Hepburn speedster in his day who was too quick for our boys. The team: Jarrod Milsom (c), David Kaye, Jacob Kaye, Craig Kelly, Mal Goldsworthy, Joe Monro, Brad Fawcett, Drew Roberts, Paul Monro, Aaron Milsom, Paul Metcalfe.
2008 saw a much improved effort from the KFSC Only XI. A couple of changes to the team and more experience for the boys playing saw the scores much closer. Hepburn Old Boys scored 127 and we scored 117. Lindsay Olver the skipper of the Old Boys team was the man of the match. David Pocock whom the trophy is named after umpired the game as he remembered to come to the game this year! The team: Jarrod Milsom (c), Craig Kelly, Drew Roberts, Darryl Nettleton, Corey Warne, Aaron Milsom, Paul Metcalfe, Neil Gladman, Brad Fawcett, Drew Roberts, Joe Monro and Steve Crouch.
