Our School Zone

The Crusoe College school zone is available on which hosts the most up to date information about Victorian school zones for 2020 onwards. Students residing in this zone are guaranteed a place at our school, which is determined on the basis of your permanent residential address. The Department provides guidance through the school Placement Policy to ensure that students have access to their designated neighbourhood school and the freedom to choose other schools, subject to facility limitations.

Transition Timeline

From Week 1, Term 2 2020
Government primary schools distribute the Transition Information Pack to all parents/carers of Year 6 students. The Pack will contain the Application for Year 7 Placement 2021 form and the Privacy Notice.

Friday 29th May, 2020
Parents/carers return Application for Year 7 Placement 2021 forms to government primary schools by this date.

Wednesday 19th August, 2020

Primary Schools notify parents/carers of Year 6 students of placement offers, in writing.

Thursday 20th August, 2020
Secondary schools may distribute enrolment, orientation and other transition information to parents/carers of future Year 7 students.

From Monday 31st August, 2020
Parents return completed enrolment forms to their child’s primary school.

Tuesday 8th December, 2020
Secondary Schools host an Orientation Day for Year 6 students
