Crusoe College offers an outstanding secondary education for all students. Students undertake a broad curriculum program which caters for individual interests and needs. The college has a range of co-curricular programs which include instrumental music and sports programs. Crusoe College also offers students an academic extension and enrichment program.

Parent Information Evening

Our Parent and Student Information Evening will be held on May 6th 2024 at 6:00pm in the gymnasium, with self-guided tours running from 6:30pm to 7:30pm. To gain an early insight into what the college provides, we invite you to view our Transition Presentation video and read through the attached documents on this page, and view our webpage to gain an understanding of the programs we offer.

Two different parent/carer packs will be available to download from the parent/carers page week 1, Term 2, 2024:
– 2024 to 2025 placement information pack for parents/carers with Year 6 students at government schools
– 2024 to 2025 placement information pack for parents/carers with Year 6 students at non-government schools.

School Tours

We will be conducting school tours during Education Week. Tours will run 10:30 am and 2:15 pm each day from Monday 13th to Friday 17th May. Interested people should be at the General Office (accessed from Olympic Pde) 5 minutes before the start time.

Our School Zone

The Crusoe College school zone is available on https://www.findmyschool.vic.gov.au/ which hosts the most up to date information about Victorian school zones for 2020 onwards. Students residing in this zone are guaranteed a place at our school, which is determined on the basis of your permanent residential address. The Department provides guidance through the school Placement Policy to ensure that students have access to their designated neighbourhood school and the freedom to choose other schools, subject to facility limitations.

Transition Timeline

From Week 1, Term 2 2025
Government primary schools distribute the Transition Information Pack to all parents/carers of Year 6 students. The Pack will contain the Application for Year 7 Placement 2023 form and the Privacy Notice.

Friday, May 10th 2024
Parents/carers return Application for Year 7 Placement 2025 forms to government primary schools by this date.

Wednesday, July 17th 2024

Primary Schools notify parents/carers of Year 6 students of placement offers, in writing.

Date to be announced
Secondary schools may distribute enrolment, orientation and other transition information to parents/carers of future Year 7 students.

Date to be announced
Parents return completed enrolment forms to their child’s primary school.
